MEET THE WOODY'S TEAM
Ken Petersen - Founder
From installing his first hardwood floor in 1986 to now, Ken has done it all in the wood flooring business. Starting with installing hardwood flooring to sanding and finishing hardwood floors, from running crews to having showrooms, from gymnasiums to manufacturing and doing it all as an entrepreneur.
Ken and his wife Marlene have five girls, and all are married and so far 13 grandchildren.
Ken is very much involved in the day to day operations of Woody's and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Tim Simpson - VP Operations
Tim started with Woody's in the mid 90’s and still today takes care of all the day to day operations. He keeps his eyes and ears on everything that is happening and makes sure all the numbers balance out.
Tim has two children and one grand daughter that has him wrapped around her finger already.
Eric Hughes - estimator/sales in Kelowna
Eric came to Woody's with a degree in business, but a heart in selling. He is very detail driven when it comes to hardwood flooring, and treats every job as a priority. Every customer likes Eric.
He was born and raised in Kelowna but has travelled around the world, and came home with an Irish wife.
Jeannine Hunter - estimator/sales in Calgary
Jeannine is Marlene’s sister who came to Woody's with experience in sales and design.
She definitely has a love for what she does in selling and designing wood floor projects, she never backs down from a chance to help design a hardwood floor for a customers home.
Jeannine has three children and very happy to be a grandma.
Colin MacPherson - Pre-finish plant manager
Colin came to Woodys when we started our pre-finishing factory a few years ago. He has years of experience in carpentry and also has a degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, this makes a perfect fit for running all the equipment on our pre-finishing manufacturing line here in Kelowna.
Colin was born and raised here in the Okanagan valley and has a wife and four kids that keep him busy when he’s not at work.
